This is a sweet confection for your precious little one...the palest of pink and pure white cotton batiste to dress her in! Two pale pink Lambs frolic over a meadow fence with flowers, grass and a Butterfly flying overhead in between two Madeira "hills" outlined in single featherstitching. The precious Bonnet is embroidered with another Butterfly, flowers and single featherstitching. Madeira appliques on the dress and bonnet are machine stitched; all other embroideries are accomplshed by hand using seven beautifully coordinated colors of cotton floss. Delicate cotton lace is gathered onto the sleeves, and neck of the dress, around the brim of the bonnet and on every edge of the slip which adds the perfect touch to this springtime confection. Lovely Mother of Pearl buttons fasten the slip and the back of the dress, and white silk satin ribbons add the finishing touch to the bonnet. This kit contains enough White and Pale Pink Cotton Batiste, double-sided silk satin ribbon in two widths, lovely narrow French Cotton Lace edging, Mother of Pearl buttons and cotton embroidery floss to complete either a 0-3 month, 6-9 month or a 12-month Sweet Springtime three-piece ensemble.
