The tiny checks of the medium blue cotton gingham and pure white cotton batiste highlight the sweet Lamb chasing after a little Butterfly over grass, flowers and single featherstitching. The Bonnet features more flowers, a butterfly, featherstitching and lovely double-sided satin Swiss polyester ribbons. Beautiful Mother of Pearl buttons fasten the slip and the back of the dress. The Madeira appliques on the dress and bonnet are machine stitched, and all other embroidery is accomplshed by hand in seven delightful colors. This kit works up quickly: there is no lace or tatting to stitch onto any pieces of the ensemble. The little slip is shell stitched by hand, but of course can be machine shell stitched. This three-piece ensemble is a shorter version of our Baby Daygown ensemble and is especially suitable for a baby who is more mobile. The kit contains anough White Cotton Victorian Batiste and 1/16" check English Pima Cotton Medium Blue Gingham fabric, white double-sided satin Swiss polyester ribbon in two widths, Mother of Pearl buttons and cotton embroidery floss to complete either a 0-3 month, 6-9 month or a 12-month Sweet Springtime three-piece ensemble.
